Mongolian Yurt available to hire (June 2010)
With the success of our Loch-side Cabins and fantastic reception to our recent Tipi revamp we have expanded the centres accommodation with a fantastic Mongolian Yurt.
Pitched on the banks of Loch Ken with fantastic views, the Yurt offers a brilliant camping experience with all the creature comforts of home.

Orienteering, GAC's latest activity (May 2010)
Orienteering is the first of many new activities to be offered on our newly extended land. With a range of routes catering for all abilities this is a great activity for children and adults alike.
There are many benifits to be gained form Orienteering. You get fit while having fun, improve navigation and map reading skills aswell as teamwork.
Orienteering will be offered to whole range of our customers from families and individuals including it as part of their activity day, to school groups and kids club. Call us on 01644 420626 to find out more.
Tipi revamp and new BBQ area (May 2010)
For 2010 we have revamped our Tipi, offering customers a new and exciting alternative camping experience.
Raised on 30 square foot of decking backing onto the side of the Loch, the tipi has a spectacular site within the centre. Inside there is a stove in the centre of the tipi from which to cook or just use as a fire to heat the tipi. There is also a new BBQ between the Tipi and Cabins for all guest to use and enjoy.
There are rugs and mattresses surrounding the fire creating charming and comfortable accommodation for 4-6 people. Check out our tipi page for more information >
Grounds Extension (Jan 2010)
This season GAC has purchased an additional 19 acres of land. This will allow us to develop our recreational activities such as Fishing and Orienteering. Watch this space…
New Trek 4300disk Mountain Bike fleet (Jan 2010)
2009 saw the centre take a more progressive approach to mountain biking. With great cycle routes and the 7 Stanes right on our door step we introduced a new fleet of
Now a year on, that fleet of bikes have come on gone giving way for our brand new 2010 fleet of Trek 4300 mountain bikes.
Also new for 2010 is a buggy that attaches to the back of your bike, allowing you to tow young children safely.
These are also available to hire out as with the rest of our kit.
New RS 500 for 2010 (Dec 2009)
We have just added an RS 500 to our advanced sailing fleet. This is a real cracker of a boat, it’s lightweight hull and powerful sail make for a very exciting sail!
The RS 500 will sit at the very top of our sailing fleet above the Laser Bahia's, 3000's and RS Feva's. We aim to use this boat for the very top end of the advanced sailing modules and high performance courses.
New Easky15 Touring kayaks (Dec 2009)
New to our 2010 Kayak fleet are the Easky15 touring kayaks. The Easky 15 is very similar to a sea kayak allowing you to explore the 10km stretch of Loch Ken in comfort and at speed.
Our Paddle sport courses will give you the chance to use a wide variety of kayaks and canoes, allowing you gain experience to a range of paddling disciplines.
