At Galloway Activity Centre we follow the BCU (British Canoe Union) Performance and Leadership Award Scheme. It is a cross discipline structure that combines Kayaking and Canoeing skills.

For juniors we run the exciting Paddle Power Scheme (previously rainbow awards) which are broken down into 5 levels of which we cover 3. For Adults we run the Paddlesport star test awards from 1 star through to 3 star. See our Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced pages for more info. We also run the Foundation Safety and Rescue course, this is ideal for paddlers looking to be safer on the water or perhaps become a Paddlesport Coach.
