For Adults and young paddlers alike we run the BCU (British Canoe Union) 3 star award (Junior Explore award).  Once you have mastered your boat control at an intermediate level it is time to test your new skills on moving water.

Local rivers such as the Dee provide a natural stepping stone for advancing from placid to moving water, with the Nith providing a more challenging playground.
Our advanced course will spend some time on the flat waters of Loch Ken refining your skills prior to going on the rivers.

For this course we recommend at least 3 days.  This course is often run in conjunction with the intermediate course where we progress onto 3 star in the latter half of the week.

Personal skills clinics (progression sessions) can also be arranged where our Instructors can help you overcome hurdles or certain skills barriers.
