RYA Stage 1 Sailing Course
This course is all about getting out there, having fun and gaining confidence on the water.  By the end of the 2 days you will be a proficient sailor, able to rig and sail a beginner boat.  You will understand wind direction, rigging, basic boat controls and be confident to launch and recover your boat.

For Stage 1 we tend to use the stable and forgiving Laser Funboat.  This is the perfect platform to soak in all the new information in a controlled and safe environment.  The Funboat is spacious and can take 2 children with ease encouraging confidence in younger sailors.

RYA Stage 2 Sailing Course
This course is aimed at refining and developing the initial skills covered in Stage 1.  You will learn more about points of sailing, tacking and gybing and be able to sail around a triangular course.

We tend to progress onto Laser Pico's which have very similar controls to the Funboat, but with a slightly faster hull shape.  You will really feel that you have mastered sailing when you hike out and lean back as your boat cuts through the water.

The Stage 1 & 2 courses are usually combined and run during the week.  Courses can also be run at the weekends subject to demand.
