Junior Intermediate Sailing
RYA Stage 3 Sailing Course
The Stage 3 course follows on from Stage 2, developing and refining your single handed sailing. Covering aspects such as the 5 essentials (better boat set up and control) we will have you blasting along in no time.
On this course you will cover practical boat control skills such as man over board, coming along side and picking up a mooring.
As with all levels of sailing there is a little theory to cover on topics such as tides, weather and boat controls. Theory is normally covered in small chunks over a hot chocolate at break.
RYA Stage 4 SAiling Course
The Stage 4 course is about preparing the younger sailor for the advanced modules. It applies the skills mastered in Stage 3 to double handed dinghies. By the end of the course you will be confident in modern dinghies which tend to have bigger sails and more ropes to pull!
Our new fleet of RS Fevas are the perfect boat for developing and nurturing new skills. Working together, helm and crew will learn the basics of more technically advanced boats. You will throw up the spinnaker and blast downwind and learn how to control, tune and master this new found power. Older sailors in their mid teens may also use our Laser 3000 and Bahia's.
