Our 12 seater Highfield RIB is the perfect platform for a tour around Loch Ken. Safe and stable with a whisper quiet engine when travelling slowly. There are two easy seating bench seats as well as 8 jockey seats.

What To Bring

You don't need any specialist clothing for this activity, but make sure you wrap up warm even on a sunny day and bring full waterproofs if you can.

course age restrictions

Provided you can safely fit into a life jacket or buoyancy aid, then there is no lower age restrictions. We have life jackets to suit most 4 year olds, younger passengers can sometimes be fitted up correctly but it's difficult to say in advance as it depends on their size.

Our boat tours include a short high-speed section. Participants must inform us of any medical conditions that could be affected by the trip—particularly any spinal issues, bone issues, back complaints or pregnancy (this list is not exhaustive)

who can take part

Our boat tours are suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities. Most of the tour is conducted at a gentle pace, with a short high-speed section as we pass through the designated speed zone.

To take part, passengers must be able to:

  • Sit upright without support
  • Maintain control of their head and upper body
  • Grip handrails securely with both hands
  • Brace themselves effectively using their legs and feet

If you have any medical conditions, please inform us in advance—particularly if you experience or have a history of:

  • Spinal issues
  • Bone or joint conditions
  • Back or neck pain
  • Pregnancy
