Ready to test your endurance? Starting this September, series of testing endurance events will run as part of Visit Scotland's Year of Coasts and Waters. There will be five exciting events running every weekend including an extra special addition to the 8th Loch Ken Wild Swim!

Beltie Triathlon

5th - 6th September

Swim in a slow moving river; cycle a fast and scenic
route followed by a testing run. A Go Tri endurance event suitable for all abilities.

Loch Ken Wild Swim

11th - 13th September

Starting with an exciting Night Swim on Friday and finishing with Loch Ken's first 10km end to end swim on Sunday - a real test of endurance!

Castle Douglas Bike & Food Festival

18th - 20th September

A series of cycling events suitable for all abilities with delicious food, workshops and entertainment. Autumn is arguable the best time of year for foodies so come and enjoy the culinary treats!

Loch Ken endurance Paddler

Loch Ken Paddle Fest

25th - 27th September

Kayaking, paddle boarding, dragon boating - if you're holding a paddle we'll be doing it! Dragon Boat Racing on the Saturday and Skiffy racing on the Sunday along with taster sessions all weekend.

All the elements of the Autumn of Endurance come together for a literally breathtaking finale - for the contestants anyway! An open water swim followed by kayaking, cycle, run and finally archery - a modern pentathlon!
