loch ken wild swim

This year's charity wild swim is being held in support of the Galloway Mountain Rescue Team. Loch Ken is an incredibly clean stretch of water well loved by Wild Swimmers. As part of the Hydo-Electric scheme the Loch is regularly filled with fresh water from the Rhinns of Kells and is known as one of the cleanest loch's in Scotland.

Our Wild Swim weekend, now in it's 12th year is the perfect opportunity to try a number of events with full safety cover and timing provided. There are four main events, the Loch Ken Wild Swim on Saturday 31st September, the Night Swim on Friday 30th September and the 10km end to end on Sunday 1st September
