Windsurf Instructor
RYA Start Windsurf Instructor Course - Scotland
The RYA Start Windsurf Instructor Course runs over 5 days, Monday to Friday. This is the non-residential option. The course takes place here at The Galloway Activity Centre on the lovely Loch Ken in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. We have now trained over 500 instructors, many who have gone on to take up senior roles at centres globally - so you are in safe hands with us!
The course will be run by a coach assessor and moderated on the final day by a second coach assessor. You will be taught the RYA method and learn training techniques which will qualify you to teach RYA Start Windsurfing and the Youth Windsurfing Scheme (stages 1 and 2), both inland and coastal. The course runs from Monday - Friday and this is the non-residential option. Upon purchase of the course, we will contact you via email with your joining instructions.
Please note, the course requires a minimum of 4 candidates to be able to run and should this number not be reached, the course will need to be cancelled.
Pre-Requisites
Along with being up to the standard of Intermediate non-planing and the ability to beach start and gybe, you will need the following pre-requisites to sign up:
RYA Powerboat Level 2
First Aid Certificate
RYA Safe and Fun

RYA Powerboat Level 2 and Fast Track Courses

Half Board Details
We also have a half board option available which includes your accommodation, breakfast and lunch.
